In line with the good results in August, the summer season ends on a very positive note in Gironde: 79% of professionals (and up to 88% in the Arcachon Bay) say they are satisfied with the attendance of the month of September, which they judge to be 41% higher and 40% equivalent to that of last year which had exceeded that of 2019 in camping (+4% in overnight stays) and had equaled it in hotels (source INSEE).
At the end of September, 68% of professionals declared themselves satisfied with the attendance over the entire season but with very divided opinions regarding the evolution compared to 2022: if 26% declared their attendance equivalent, 36% judge progress vs. 38% decline.
