Canal2Mers-Logo Quadri CS5

The Canal des Deux Mers cycling route (the V80) is a 750 km route from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean. The route linked to the Vélodyssée goes through Royan to Blaye. There are two alternatives: take the ferry to Lamarque to reach Bordeaux via the Médoc vineyard, or take the Route de la Corniche via Bourg and continue to Bordeaux.
The course, fully staked, then joins the Lapebie track and runs along the Canal de Garonne to Toulouse, before continuing along the Canal du Midi to Sète.

The very varied universes such as the Gironde estuary, the vineyards of the Médoc, Bordeaux-Métropole, Entre-Deux-Mers, then the beginning of the Canal de Garonne make this route an exceptional destination to discover by bike.

Le Route Committee of the Canal des Deux Mers by bike is currently piloted by the Haute-Garonne department and by Haute-Garonne Tourisme. 7 departments and 2 regions crossed are partners.
