La Scandibérique, the French part of EuroVelo 3, which connects Trondheim in Norway to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, crosses France over 1 km. Some sections are still planned today.

The route, 5 km in total, begins in France at the Belgian border, at Jeumont, along the Sambre, then takes the direction of the Pyrenees via Paris, the Loire Valley on "la Loire à Vélo », the Dordogne, the Charente, before arriving in Gironde.

The route crosses the Libournais via Saint-Emilion, then passes by the Lapebie track to reach Bordeaux. From Bordeaux it sets off again towards the South, to rejoin the track towards Bazas then takes part of the route “the Canal des Deux Mers by bike” towards the Lot et Garonne to return to the Landes.

Coordination is ensured by a project manager from the CRT Paris Île-de-France and accompanied for the coordination and animation of the route by Vélo&Territoires.
