The Gironde Estuary will no longer have any secrets for you.
Installed in the former prison of the citadel of Blaye, the estuary reveals itself as a maritime route but also through people and through its unique environment. During your visit to this exhibition, you will discover the ships and their destinations, their goods and the ports of call in each era.
The people here will tell you about their estuary and their experiences with "the river", the islands, the marshes, fishing and shipbuilding but also navigation on the golden waters of the Gironde.
