The Gironde by TER
Thanks to TER trains (regional express trains), it is possible to connect several major cities in Gironde:
- Head to the Arcachon Bay using the line Bordeaux – Arcachon (50 min).

Gironde by coach
You can also travel using the network of department buses. This network has more than 70 regular lines, including 4 lines that connect the TER stations of Gironde. The single journey costs €2,30 (valid for 2 hours). You can also buy a return ticket (to be done on the same day) for €4,10. These tickets can be purchased directly on board the vehicle.
