The town of Lansac acquired a windmill tower and a small miller's house in 1996. The project is to rehabilitate the site. The work begins with the restoration of the structural work of the tower, then the roof which was installed in October 2005. Then it is the installation of the mechanisms (flint millstones, bluterie, bag lift). The wings were installed in May 2006 and the mill is equipped with an electric motor to be operational at all times. The honed millstones can finally grind the grain. The mill has been restored like this, according to the rules of the art! Since June 2010, the old miller's house has been rehabilitated: a resource center on milling, it hosts exhibitions and the public, which is growing in number.
