Put your steps in the legend of Amadour

Amadour, also known as Saint Amadour (or Zacchaeus), is an iconic character for Catholics. According to legend, in the XNUMXst century AD, he left Palestine and landed on the Médoc coast with his wife Véronique. It is in the current town of Soulac-sur-Mer that Amadour founded the church which would later become: Notre-Dame-de-la-fin-des-Terres. Disciple of Christ, Amadour would then have traveled to Rocamadour to spread the Christian faith. His journey ends in Quercy where he settles as a hermit, in a place that will later be named Rocamadour.
