The two wet basins are constructions from the end of the 19th century, beginning of the 20th century.

The start
Departure from tram B stop Cité Mondiale du Vin located on Quai de Bacalan Take the sidewalk of Rue Lucien Faure, turn right at the corner of the “Lidl” supermarket to reach the esplanade which runs alongside the ponds Go to the other end of the pools (place de Latulle). You can stroll on this immense esplanade and depending on your tastes look at the moored boats, the restaurants, the old submarine base, the world wine city or one of the latest modern works "the spaceship".
