The Bordeaux vineyard

Cycling through the vineyards of Bordeaux

Discovering the Bordeaux vineyards by bike means taking the time. Time to take advantage of the panoramas of vines as far as the eye can see, to stop to visit one of the Iconiques en Gironde, the time to meet passionate winegrowers…

Discovery of the vineyards and castles by bike

Loops and excursions by bike with return by train, or even by boat… In Bordeaux, discovering the vineyards by bike can be done for the day as well as during an excursion or a visit to the château. And it is also the conviviality of festivities to share!

Whether you are a confirmed sportsman or an occasional walker, the electrically assisted bike will remove all your apprehensions to travel the hilly roads in the vineyard.

Our favorites :

“When we left early in the morning, when we set off on the roads…
A bicycle…"

By humming this song by Yves Montand, you can already see yourself there. La Gironde à vélo is a 700 km cycle network, including 390 km on its own site, i.e. without a car, with many services reserved for cyclists (rental, repair, parking, luggage transport, etc.) ).
A total of 150 establishments are labeled “Accueil Vélo” in Gironde, including, new for 2021, a few wine châteaux: Châteaux Marquis de Terme and Château d'Arsac in Médoc, Les Chaumes in Blayais, Champion in Saint-Émilion, Roquefort, Le Thieuley and Seguin in Entre-deux-Mers .
