Want to meet passionate winegrowers? 35 km north-east of Bordeaux, the Lhuillier family opens the doors to Château Haut Gaussens, a restored XNUMXth century residence. In the small hilly village of Vérac, Stéphane and Delphine Lhuillier communicate their passion for vines and wine to you and invite you to take a tour of the owner in their company.
First, discover the particularities of this 15-hectare vineyard which dominates the slopes of the Fronsadais. Many times rewarded, Stéphane comments on the meticulous work carried out on each plot: pruning, stripping, sorting... He then takes you on a tour of the cellars that he has modernized and explains the winemaking process to you. Take advantage of the tasting to continue the conversation, before going for a stroll in Lugon in the exotic garden of Fond de l'Or nestled in the heart of the vineyard.
