Barely 3 km from the Abbaye de la Sauve-Majeure in Entre-Deux-Mers, the Château de Castelneau is a historic residence that reigns over an area of 100 hectares in one piece, about thirty of which are planted with vines. Loïc and Diane de Roquefeuil and their four children welcome you to this property that has been in their family for eight generations.
Madame has transformed a “coûcoûte”, a typical Entre-deux-Mers farmhouse, into an elegant gîte with swimming pool and plans to convert a wing of the château into guest rooms. Monsieur will take you on a tour of the estate's three cellars, one of which is entirely dedicated to the vinification of Entre-deux-Mers whites. More rarely, you learn that the capping and dressing of Château de Castelneau bottles are carried out on site.
