At the end of a long alley lined with cypresses which lets you see the white gazebo on its facade, Château Brondelle is located 2 km from the center of Langon. Jean-Noël Belloc welcomes you (by appointment) and tells you the story of this “beautiful place” (meaning of “Belloc” in Gascon). In the XNUMXth century, part of the place would have belonged to the lordship of the neighboring Château de Roquetaillade. Then, by marriage, Château Brondelle was brought to the Bellocs, an old Bazas family whose ancestors were winegrowers in Sauternes.
The 45 hectares of Château Brondelle are divided between the Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations, Graves and Sauternes. After a tour of the vineyard, discover the cellar where the wines are aged in vats and barrels. Throughout the visit and until the tasting, Jean-Noël Belloc shares his passion and answers your questions.
