From 1934, a handful of winegrowers gathered around a single cellar and set up a public sales area in Sauveterre-de-Guyenne, a bastide 50 km south-east of Bordeaux. From 640 hectares of vineyard in 1972, the cellar of Sauveterre - Cellier de la bastide now represents 2000. Discover this cellar located in the heart of Entre-deux-Mers where passionate winegrowers await you.
Get closer to the thermo-regulated stainless steel vats which ensure optimal vinification before joining the aging cellar. Wine and environment? Discuss these questions with your guide while tasting a vintage in the room decorated with contemporary works of art. Then continue your walk in the Pays des bastides by visiting Créon. On your way, admire the Abbaye de la Sauve-Majeure, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
