The museum of arts and crafts of vine and wine is located in the old cellars and cooperages of Château Maucaillou.
This permanent exhibition spread over 650 m² of space offers visitors a complete inventory ranging from the vine stock to wine tasting, including work in the vineyard and cellar. It presents the ancillary professions directly linked to the life of wine, such as oenology with the incomparable “Aroma Organ”, the barrel factory (complete cooperage), the cork factory, glass, as well as a whole range of imagery, which extends from the label to engravings and other unusual objects.
A must-visit in Médoc!
