The former civil and military prison built in the citadel of Blaye was transformed into a bakery at the end of the 7000th century. Presenting the many vestiges of its past, it now houses the Museum of Archeology and History of Blaye. This one invites you to discover the rich hours of the building which shelters it through the dungeons and the bakeries. The XNUMX years of history of the citadel are illustrated by the archaeological finds discovered in the citadel of Vauban and in the former St Romain abbey, the model of the medieval castle, the various development plans of the fortress, the collections related to daily life and at the bakery.
