Marsh of Arcins Soussans

In the marshes of Arcins-Soussans, one pays attention to each movement which is created in the discreet veiling of the foliage.
The site is classified Natura 2000 for the exceptional habitat it represents: between wet meadows, ponds, woods and reedbeds. Two hiking loops allow you to indulge in the joys of walking in the heart of nature: you will discover a rich and varied heritage that abounds in unique species of animals and plants. In these wetlands, a large population of migratory birds nest. From the observatory placed at the top of the observation tower, it is easier to observe them. In addition to the flora (estuary angelica, summer snowflakes), wildlife lovers will not be left out: with a little luck, you can see otter, European mink or pond turtle (small marsh turtle)...
