Spring pond

A true haven of nature and peace, this long body of water is a delight for fishermen and walkers. Created artificially in the 80s, it stretches between the Pimpine stream and the old Bordeaux-Sauveterre railway line; now rehabilitated as a greenway.
If you don't make too much noise, you will come across turtles, frogs, ducks, moorhens, birds and various species of fish.
Although it is forbidden to swim there, it is strongly recommended to take a walk, picnic or fish there. Mandatory fishing license to be collected from the Peche33 Federation or in a specialized store.
Population of the pond: roach, carp, bream, black bass, perch, pike, eels. Trout releases are organized, find the information on the AAPPMA La Vallée de la Pimpine website which has managed recreational fishing on the pond since 2016.
