Treat yourself to a break in harmony with nature in the Heart of the Arcachon Basin! On the program for your weekend: a discovery by bike of preserved landscapes, tasting local products and meeting passionate and committed artisans.
When you arrive there, Julia, your host, will introduce you to “Le Cabanon”, your gîte. It is perfectly located, 5 minutes walk from the beach and the small port of Cassy and 300 meters from the cycle path. Julia, involved in the “Imaginaterres” network (local actors working for the development of more responsible tourism), will give you her good advice for a stroll in the surrounding area on foot or by bike. Get on your bike and take the cycle path to get to the area of Cadeau and Graveyron then embark on a stroll along the water to discover the Leyre Delta.
In Arcachon, stop at the Tourist Office (in the immediate vicinity of the station) to get some good advice and visit Bunker 502, a vestige of the Second World War open to visitors, located under the Office of tourism !
Then enjoy a final stroll around the port of Larros, between oyster huts, shipyards and traditional boats. It's impossible to leave without treating yourself to an oyster tasting in one of the port's cabins!
