PETIT-PALAIS-ET-CORNEMPS

This peaceful walk around the town of Petit-Palais-et-Cornemps takes you through the woods and between the vines, mixing nature and architecture.

Your itinerary

1

Step 1

Facing the church of Petit-Palais, go around it to the left by taking the road that goes down. Continue straight on the D121, then at the crossroads take the D119 opposite. Cross the small bridge that spans the “Le Palais” stream, then leave the departmental road.
2

Step 2

Enter the small grove by the first dirt road on your left. Continue on this deviating path to the right. Further on, the main path turns right again: continue straight on the second path. You will thus cross all the wood in front of you and then continue between plots of vines, on a grassy path.
3

Step 3

At the crossroads of the grassy and dirt road, at the entrance to a field on the right, continue straight on the dirt road (yellow markers). Continue on this path. At the end, you arrive on the road of Huguets which you go up on the right to join the secondary road.
4

Step 4

At the stop sign, turn left. Then take the first path on the right (yellow marker) and continue straight. Pass a wooden shelter, then continue straight on the path through the wood. Pass between two rocks and go down the path until you reach a small wooden bridge.
5

Step 5

Cross the bridge, turn left, then, at the first crossing, turn right (yellow marker). The path passes a colorful stable. At the end of the path, after the gate, turn left. The dirt road turns into an asphalt road which leads to a hamlet. At the crossroads, take the road which deviates to the right, route de Mougnac (yellow beacon).
6

Step 6

On the way to Mougnac, continue straight. Pass in front of Ch. Vieux Mougnac and continue straight on, on "route de la Petite Lande". At the crossroads, go straight ahead. At the end of the road, turn left (yellow beacon) to return to the church.
