COURSE-LES-BAINS

A territory of transition between the Lot-et-Garonne hillsides and the great forest of the Gironde moors, the Grignolais offers visitors a very wide variety of landscapes, a remarkable heritage and an exceptionally rich nature.

Your itinerary

1

Departure from the village of Cours-les-Bains

From Cours-les-Bains, go around the church on the right, staying on the paved road for 700 meters. At the yellow and green beacon, continue straight on towards "Route de la Rode".
2

Step 2

At the next yellow and green beacon, turn left on a dirt road. Carefully follow the markings in the forest before arriving at a clearing. Go past a farm on the right.
3

Step 3

Turn around and return to the arrow rack. Continue straight on following the "Boucle de Cours les Bains / Auzac". Cross the footbridge that crosses the Lysos.
4

Step 4

Go back up the path and walk along the plot of vines on the right. Cross the meadow (access via a barrier to be unhooked).
5

Step 5

Walk along the fence of a farm on the right and leave the path through a barrier. Join the paved road and turn right.
6

Step 6

At the crossroads with the D252, turn left.
7

Step 7

At a place called "Bahalade", follow the direction "Grignols" and pass in front of the water tower. The Lot-et-Garonne valleys are visible on the right. Pass in front of the Marcon farm.
8

Step 10

Just before the house, at a place called "Didot", turn left between the fields and the fence (yellow and green beacon). Bypass the grove on the right, climb the embankment and take the path to the left. Cross the meadow and continue in the undergrowth (safety barrier to cross). A pond is visible on the left on the way up.
9

Step 11

Leave the paved road and take the dirt road to the church of Auzac. Bypass the church on the left and join the path that descends due south through the valleys to access the return path.
10

Step 10

After crossing the Lysos, continue straight along a field of hazelnut trees and turn right until the arrowhead indicating "local loop of Cours-les-bains" on the left.
11

Step 11

At a place called "Rouchet", at the end of the path, continue on the paved road to reach Cours-les-bains. The building of the former Templar Commandery is on the left. At the end of the road, turn left, opposite the bus shelter.
