The only high-rise bastide in Gironde, Monségur, founded in 1265 by Eléonore de Provence, has retained the frame of the original plan characteristic of bastides. Starting from the heart of the bastide, you will discover the market hall and its arcades, but also the streets and half-timbered houses, not to mention the Notre-Dame church and the ramparts.

Depart from the central square, at the corner of the pharmacy go up rue Latraine. Note on the right, at the passage of rue Barbe, the half-timbered houses. Continue to the end of the bastide

Turn right on rue de Miquelet then left on rue du château until you reach rue d'Angoulème
