The Ville d'Automne district corresponds jointly to the Saint-Ferdinand and Aiguillon districts, which notably host the fishing port and the Marina.
This area experienced great economic activity thanks to the fisheries and shipyards that flourished until the early 50s.

Getting to the starting point

Departure from Place de Verdun

From Place de Verdun, head towards Boulevard Deganne.

Villa Kervan - 86 boulevard Deganne

Continue straight on boulevard Deganne. On your right, at number 86, you will discover the Villa Kervan.

EHPAD Saint Dominique - 80 boulevard Deganne

Continue straight on boulevard Deganne.

Saint Ferdinand Church

Turn left on the avenue de Mendivil, then continue straight, you arrive behind the Church of Saint Ferdinand.

Sailors Street

From the church, turn left on Boulevard de la Plage, then right when you arrive at the Kraken towards the car park.

The Heritage wharf

Proceed through the car park and turn right onto the docks.

Towards the fisherman's hall

Continue straight along the quays, to the car park. La Halle is behind the car park.

Towards the Fish Market

Continue straight on rue du Capitaine Allègre, pass the car park and you will see a large brown building: the auction.

Towards rue du Commandant Silhouette

After the auction building, take the Quai du Commandant Silhouette on the left.

To the Goslar wharf

Continue on Quai du Commandant Silhouette, at the crossroads turn left Quai Goslar.

Peris at Sea Monument

Continue straight on the Quai Goslar, you arrive at the Croix des Péris en Mer.

Towards the Aiguillon

Retrace your steps on the Quai Goslar as far as the rue du Capitaine Allègre where you will turn left. Follow the road to rue Coste. Arrived at the stop sign, turn right on Boulevard Chanzy and continue straight to the point. Turn right on the coastal path towards the Aiguillon hut.
