Riddle: synonymous with sudden cheerfulness, it sometimes surprises us in the middle of a meeting, it can be contagious and above all it is essential to our lives: Laughter.

Many scientists, historians, philosophers have studied it and wondered about it, its origin and its consequences. The exhibition Laughs! which takes place at the Natural History Museum of Bordeaux until January 26, 2020, reveals some leads.
Why are we laughing? How many times a day ? Is laughter unique to humans?

All these questions and much more are answered in a fresh, offbeat and obviously funny exhibition. Through experiences, each as wacky as the next, you will uncover the secrets of this phenomenon as old as the world. With more than 40 activities, games, applications, videos, booklets, audio terminals, interactive and artistic installations, the immersion is total.
Beyond the technical and scientific questions, the exhibition Laughs! takes you back in time. A little leap back to the time of the first men and therefore the first laughs, will surprise you.
An interactive exhibition that develops the imagination and curiosity of children, not to be missed!
