Cathedral Square, 33430 BAZAS

Traditionally, the Bazadais celebrate the Patron Saint of their city in June since the most ancient times of Christianity. The festival begins with the ceremony of homage to the bull, during which the city's master butchers once offered a bull to the bishop and subsequently to the city's jurats. This ceremony, full of color and music, is recreated today on the Cathedral Square on June 23. It is followed by fires of Saint John erected in front of the cathedral and ceremonially lit.

All activities are free, funfair all week on the Allée Saint Sauveur.
