Les Escales du Bassin: A Traditional Festival on the Oyster Port of La Teste de Buch on May 11, 2024
The Oyster Port of La Teste de Buch will be the scene of an emblematic maritime celebration, with the fifth edition of Escales du Bassin. Organized by the Association for Traditional Plaisance de la Région d'Arcachon (APTRA) and supported by the City of La Teste de Buch, this event promises cultural discoveries and entertainment.
Since its beginning, the Escales du Bassin's mission has been to sail a fleet of traditional boats from the Port of Arcachon, guided by the tides and currents, to different ports in the Arcachon Bay. This year, the municipalities of Arcachon, La Teste de Buch, Gujan-Mestras and Lège-Cap-Ferret will have the privilege of welcoming these ships.
