Madame Dufour, who is one of the rare female winegrowers in Sauternes, manages her family property with passion.
Family owned for 150 years, the Château Violet vineyard is planted with 85% Sémillon, 10% Sauvignon and 5% Muscadelle. The harvest is done by successive sorting. Joëlle Dufour welcomes you to show you around her cellar and let you taste her best vintages.
