On the right bank of the Gironde Estuary, 20 km from the Citadel of Blaye, Château Siffle Merle opens the doors of its cellars to you in the town of Marcillac. Franck Cot operates, with his wife and children, this family property of 25 hectares spread over three different municipalities: Marcillac, Cartelègue and Saint-Genès-de-Blaye.
The Cot family reserves you a warm welcome, sharing with you its know-how and its love of wine. After a visit to the vines cultivated in sustainable agriculture, let yourself be guided through the vat room and the cellars. Then enjoy a commented tasting of Château Siffle Merle wines in the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux, Bordeaux and Crémant de Bordeaux appellations. In the fall, your hosts invite you to share harvest days in their vineyards.
