In 1994, Henri and Monique Luddecke acquired Château Perayne and its 25 hectares of vines. Since then, they have continued to embellish the 2500 square meters of the historic residence while maintaining this Entre-deux-Mers vineyard. Enter the inner courtyard of the castle and admire this large stone building. Then, in the heart of the vineyards, go in search of the source which flows towards a small lake surrounded by plane trees, cedars and fruit trees.
After this bucolic walk, Henri Luddecke, considered a pioneer in environmental protection, explains how he chose grassing in order to sustainably preserve the ecosystem of his vineyard. When tasting Château Perayne wines, don't forget to ask him why there is a butterfly on the labels of each bottle.
