Family property since 1888, the wine estate, run within the family framework by Christine, Stéphane and Jérome Rousselon, covers an area of 30 hectares of vines with red grape varieties from the AOC Côtes de Bordeaux and also 10 hectares of white vines, mainly planted on the sides with south-east slopes with gravelly clay and subsoil of blue and yellow clay (ribot).
It was the seat of an independent seigniory, known from the 14th century and the stronghold of the Carmelites of Bordeaux.
