Chateau Montlau

Between Moulon and Branne, Château Montlau is remarkably well established on a hillside overlooking the Dordogne valley facing Saint-Émilion. Of Gallo-Roman origin, the stately residence was fortified in the Middle Ages and its architecture bears witness to this military past.
After enjoying the panorama from the French-style park and strolling through the gardens which host sculpture exhibitions every summer, follow your guide into the vat room steeped in history: it houses a museum where old presses and pumps rub shoulders with the vats in wood. A guided tasting of Château Montlau wines ends the visit.
