Since 1862, nine generations of winegrowers from the Boivert family have succeeded each other at the head of Château Les Ormes Sorbet, in Couquèques. To discover this family property, follow the left bank of the Gironde Estuary from Pauillac towards Saint-Christoly-Médoc and stop 18 km away, in the heart of the Médoc appellation. Hélène Boivert and her two sons, Vincent and François, welcome you and tell you the story of the estate, which has belonged to their family since 1764.
After having introduced you to the 20-hectare vineyard, they show you the large red vats in which the vinification begins, then accompany you to the cellar where the oak barrels are lined up. Then enter the tasting room specially equipped for this purpose and get to know the superior cru bourgeois of Château Les Ormes Sorbet.
