The vine has been present since Roman times. At the beginning of the 20th century, Maitre Coutin, Notary in Jonzac, inherited a wine property in Bourg. He got into the game and quickly the property became known as “le Cru du Notaire” then “Château le Clos du Notaire”. Since 1974, Sylvette and Roland Charbonnier have in turn written the history of Clos du Notaire, around this mysterious Gloriette, reigning over the vineyard.
Amélie Osmond and Victor Mischler, who have a passion for vines and wine, take over the operation after following intense training to become winegrowers.
Come and discover this mysterious Gloriette while walking through our vineyards. You can then taste the property's red and rosé wines, praised each year by the greatest tasters.
