Would you like to discover some secrets of the production of a Barsac-Sauternes Premier Grand Cru Classé? For this, Aline, Philippe and Dominique Baly will meet you at Château Coutet, a historic residence whose square tower recalls its original vocation as a military fortress. During your visit, admire the beautiful paved courtyard of this property, discover vertical presses from the beginning of the 20th century as well as a 14th century chapel. But the real heroes that you come to meet are the wines from this exceptional terroir, born from the noble rot which develops on the grapes thanks to the microclimate of this region, between Ciron and Garonne. This fungus is the main responsible for the complexity of the harvest, which can only be done manually and in several successive sortings. To find out more, come and ask your questions.
