A modern, ecological and bright building, in the heart of a calm green setting on the edge of the pine forest, the Grange du Patrimoine de Vendays-Montalivet offers 350 m² of permanent exhibition and 100 m² of temporary exhibition. The central theme of this unique museum space is 100.000 years of Médoc history. For the first time, the entire archaeological, historical, natural and cultural heritage of the Médoc is presented and expressed in a modern, state-of-the-art exhibition space. The highlight of this magnificent achievement is a computer-generated image animation on a large screen which recreates the evolution of the Médoc.
