This park, probably designed for Mr. Olivié, a Bordeaux industrialist who created a glassworks in 1815, still contains the residence he had built and several remarkable trees probably dating from the origins of the garden (a redwood, a Virginia tulip tree from 1889, a crying sophora...). Other species have resown, such as a cork oak (native species). Now owned by the municipality, the complex, which also included the location of the old glassworks and its surroundings, was bequeathed to it in 1975 by its last owner, Madame Lecoq.
Lecoq Park remains today the favorite meeting place for Boiens for walking, playing sports, meeting up with friends at the skatepark or taking the little ones to the playground.
The park also hosts numerous outdoor events on sunny days.
