Riding like a cowboy!
In the heart of the Western Village of Hourtin, the Westerlies riding center is open all year round for horseback riding, in the forest and by the lake.
The Village Western team is keen to present to you an original practice, that of Western horse riding. This style of riding developed in the Western United States in the 19th century; it was above all a working horse riding practiced on ranches by cowboys. It is also now used for leisure and competition riding.
Your choice: lessons or courses (all ages, all levels), baptisms, lunge walks.
Supervision by state-certified instructors (BPJEPS Western), the choice of cavalry and quality equipment make Westerlies a top-of-the-range school. The atmosphere is friendly, conducive to the development of the rider and with respect for the horse!
