Ciron

The Ciron is a small quiet river, taking its source in the north of the Landes and traveling a hundred kilometers before flowing into the Garonne.
Marked by an extraordinary castral heritage, the Ciron is nicknamed "the river of castles".
Cold waters, warm waters: the Ciron flows into the Garonne and each autumn morning the fog rises in the valley, invades the vineyard and wets the ripe grapes. In the afternoon the sun dries them. From this mechanical alternation is born the miracle of noble rot, which gives our wines concentration and aromatic abundance.
For hiking enthusiasts, many walks are articulated around the Ciron river. For a quieter walk, the Belvédère du Ciron is an interpretive trail that offers a magnificent view of the river.
