Mugron site

The Mugron site is a limestone outcrop taking the form of a small hill. Among the thickets of holm oak, hawthorn and dogwood, open small clearings covered with lawn. It is here that several species of orchids thrive. Many butterflies, including some rare species, are also found on the hillside. It is a universe in its own right that is organized on this hill, right in the middle of the vines and overlooking the vast Gironde Estuary: an island at the edge of the water in a way.
