Porge Ponds Canal

The Canal du Porge connects the pond of Lacanau to the Bassin d'Arcachon. It is equipped with six locks and the current is low.
Canoeing, kayaking and paddleboarding are the only nautical activities authorized, only in the area between the Pas-du-Bouc lock and the Langouarde lock.
Water activities are authorized from April 15 to October 15 inclusive, from sunrise to sunset.
The single entry and exit point is located upstream from the Pas-du-Bouc lock.
