Supervised beach of Lacanau (the central)
The central beach of Lacanau Ocean is located directly in the city center, close to the many shops and restaurants, and easily accessible by bike.
This beach is emblematic of surfing culture in New Aquitaine! Indeed, every year in August, it hosts a sporting event: the Caraïbos Lacanau Pro, which is one of the oldest stages of a world-renowned surfing championship!
Be careful, at high tide, the beach is reduced! This phenomenon is the marker of the effects of erosion. You can then go to the north and south beaches which will offer more space.
50 meters from the central beach lifeguard station, Mickey's journal beach club can accommodate your children.
Animals are not accepted on the beach in summer, refer to the regulations displayed at the entrance to the beach.
