The Gironde has no less than 90 roller rides !
These wide paths, with no significant drop, with a sufficiently rolling surface, without car traffic, between 500 m and 4 km, are also equipped with a car park. These walks are ideal for: people with reduced mobility (some circuits are in the process of being certified (Accessible tourism), having difficulty moving on uneven ground, or even parents with pushchairs and children with tricycles, scooters or small bicycles.
They are offered to you in the form of downloadable sheets, so do not hesitate to consult them, download them or even share them.

Roller ride in the Médoc
We begin our selection with a ride on wheels in an exceptional natural site: the Contaut lagoon. This pedestrian path takes you in the middle of royal ferns and giant ferns. A wooden walkway ensures a comfortable discovery. Interpretation panels are placed throughout this walk. What to enjoy a beautiful summer afternoon.
Roller ride on the Bassin d'Arcachon
We follow the Atlantic coast to the Bassin d'Arcachon for this second ride on wheels. Meet in an unusual place in the Bassin d'Arcachon: the salt meadows also called "schorre". Here, the landscape changes with the rhythms of the tides. We observe birds, ducks… moreover, a word of advice, bring your binoculars!
Roulette ride in South-Gironde
For this third favourite, head for the Migelan forest in Martillac. This former wet moor is home to a varied natural heritage. The nature of its soils, the plant formations, the presence of wetlands, allow the development of many animal and plant species.
The forest of Migelane promises you secrets and beautiful encounters along the way, with in particular the oak of Montesquieu under which the writer would have rested. Just that !
Roulette ride in Entre-deux-Mers
It is in the heart of the Entre deux Mers, 50 km east of Bordeaux, in the Blasimon leisure area that this roller ride takes you. The hilly and wooded landscapes will delight nature lovers.
This natural space of 50 hectares includes a lake of 7 hectares, part of which is reserved for swimming, the other for fishing and nautical activities. Ideal for a family outing.
Roller ride in the Libournais
The 17 hectare Cadarsac park with its 15 hectare lake is a delight for fishermen but also for walkers. The lake is a former gravel quarry but above all a nature reserve. Several species live on the site, both aquatic and volatile. A couple of swans brood in the summer on the edge of the lake. Fishing place, it is not uncommon to see great catches (a 15 kg carp on May 5, 2016) released after weighing and photo 😉
Roller ride in Haute-Gironde
In the heart of the forest, between Bordeaux and Charente-Maritime, Saugon offers peace and relaxation. The walk is about 4km. The course is intended for lovers of nature, the real, the pure, the authentic. Here, you will be in contact with the woods of the forest paths, you will listen to the birds; silence, nature; you will admire the trees, the chestnut trees, the oaks, the pines and still other species. A real moment of disconnection as we like them!
