Since July 2006, Bordeaux has had the largest reflecting pool in the world: 3 m450!
Located opposite the Place de la Bourse, it alternates spectacular effects of mirror and fog. Enchantments created by fountain designer Jean-Max Llorca, the water mirror is the central element of the quays of Bordeaux redeveloped by landscape architect Michel Corajoud.
During this visit, you will discover the basements and the technical aspects of the water mirror: an 800 m3 water tank, a system of pumps and solenoid valves allowing the circulation of water and the fog effect triggered. thanks to 900 injectors arranged in the middle of the granite slabs.
