Bordeaux, visit to the historic heart (morning)

French, English

Set off to explore historic Bordeaux in the company of a bilingual guide. Meet in the lobby of the Tourist Office, 12 classes on July 30, 10 minutes before departure. The visit begins with the description of the monument to the Girondins located on the Quinconces esplanade. Then head to the Grand-Théâtre, built in the XNUMXth century. Look up to see the statues of the muses and goddesses dominating the Place de la Comédie. Further on, the guide invites you to look at the mascarons (stone faces) which adorn the doorways, an architectural detail, a wrought iron balcony, an inscription linked to the city's past... The pleasure of continued discovery in old Bordeaux, continuing at Place de la Bourse and ending on the quays offering a unique panorama of the Garonne, without forgetting the famous water mirror... unmissable!
Thanks to your guide, you will hear fascinating anecdotes and discover places little known to the locals themselves.
Splendor of monuments, rich historical past, jewel of 18th century architecture...between history and modernity, the city has more than one face.
Please note: the route may vary slightly depending on the guide who takes you to discover the city. All guided tours are provided by people holding the professional guide-lecturer card. This tour is bilingual French/English depending on the participants.
