A month of solidarity and awareness in Gironde
Every year in October, the Gironde is adorned with pink to support the fight against breast cancer through the initiative Pink OctoberThroughout the department, numerous actions are organized to raise awareness, inform and mobilize around this cause which affects thousands of women.
This year, the Médoc Atlantique Tourist Office team up with The Bergonié Institute, with the creation of a 2025 solidarity calendar. This calendar, composed of 13 photographs taken by photographer Jean-Emmanuel Jay, highlights the beauty of the 13 towns of the destination. Each shot, subtly tinged with pink, pays homage to Pink October. On sale in tourist offices and online at medoc-atlantique-travel.com. All profits will be donated to the Bergonié Institute.
