Your itinerary
1
Ares
You should know, somewhere in Ares there is a flying saucer. You explain why would be a bit long, so we advise you to take a little trip to the Tourist Office to learn the secrets of the Martians. This is very convenient, it is located on the market square which takes place every Tuesday. It is also your last chance to taste oysters on the port.

2
Grand Crohot beach
To enjoy this immense beach of fine sand, you have to take one of the wooden duckboard paths. Do not trample the grass around it! It helps to hold the dunes. The beach is supervised from the beginning of June to mid-September: however, you should be careful with the phenomenon of baïnes (sand banks that cause strong currents). A few snacks and restaurants in season. Many picnic tables are available among the pines. To enjoy a breath of freedom, the beach of Jenny 20 minutes further is naturist.

3
The Ocean Porge
You should find what you are looking for on the 17km of beach that has largely remained wild. Think about the environment! Here, you can take your waste back to the containers located at the exit of the car parks. Between April and September, you may come across La Pignotte, a mobile reception office of the Médoc Plein Sud Tourist Office.

4
Lacanau Ocean
At the Casino roundabout, let the Tour de Gironde à Vélo pass by on your right and turn left towards the Lacanau Océan resort. This is the time to enjoy all the shops and services. And why not have dinner with an ocean view? Stroll around to discover beautiful seaside villas, some of which date back to the 20s. If you have a little more time, why not try surfing by taking an introductory lesson? Unless you are already a pro.
