Follow the guide! The Leyre will accompany you to its delta. A beautiful setting for biodiversity. This is the kingdom of canoes: you will never stop coming across them. We then enjoy a break: paddling is also nice. Unless you try tree climbing.
The Landes de Gascogne Regional Natural Park extends to the Arcachon Bay: raise your head from the handlebars to observe the birds or take a break in a small oyster port. It's time to taste some oysters.
This part of the route is full of natural treasures: set off to discover them gently, leaving your bike at the entrance to the sites. Your arrival in Andernos might surprise you: you certainly didn't expect to find Gallo-Roman remains here! From Biganos, you will have to leave the track several times to turn left if you don't want to miss anything.

1
Mios
The good plan here is definitely the guinguette by the water in season. The banks of the Leyre are without a doubt a must for a picnic or cool break. Not even scared? It is also here that you can climb the pines or go canoeing on the river with its golden sands.

2
Facture - Biganos station
This is where the junction with La Vélodyssée is made. The Tour de Gironde by bike continues north towards Biganos. But you can take a trip to see the birds at Teich or visit the winter town in Arcachon (in this case, you have to turn left). Another option is to leave the route to go see the port of Biganos 3 km away.

3
Audenge
Are you feeling a bit warm at this point in your journey? Head to the port of Audenge to swim for free in the longest outdoor seawater pool in Europe. In the town centre, enjoy the market around the market hall every Tuesday and stock up on good ideas at the tourist information office. On leaving the town, it is advisable to leave the track to discover the Certes - Graveyron estate.

4
lanton
Well, you're starting to get used to it: leaving the cycle path at the Lenan road allows you to go and enjoy the free swimming pool. We're talking about a journey of less than 5 minutes. It would be a shame to miss out.

5
The port and beach of Taussat
This little detour allows you to admire magnificent typical villas and enjoy a panorama of more than 180 degrees. In a large cabin in the port, we love the Gardarem ecomuseum to discover the tools and traditions of the Arcachon Basin.

6
Andernos-les-bains
This is a very pleasant arrival point! All the shops and services are at your disposal to recharge your batteries. The pedestrian street that leads to the largest jetty in the Arcachon Basin is a great place to bring back souvenirs. A little further on, you can taste oysters at the port, directly in an oyster farmer's hut. Don't forget to go for a walk in the church and admire the Gallo-Roman remains.
