Soulac-sur-Mer
Once you arrive, you will immediately notice the uniformity of the architecture where brick reigns supreme: nearly five hundred charming villas. On the seafront, the typical blue and white striped tents can only evoke holidays. As for the Notre-Dame-de-La-Fin-des-Terres church, it not only has an unusual history that we will let you discover, but it is also listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (as part of the Routes of Santiago de Compostela).

Royan
After a ferry crossing that lasts 20 to 25 minutes, you will arrive in Royan. This seaside resort in Charente-Maritime boldly mixes Belle Epoque villas and 50s architecture. Its concrete cathedral may surprise you: it is essential to visit it because the interior is stunning. Another must-see: the covered market and its stalls that stretch all around every day (except Mondays from September to June). There is no shortage of restaurants, shops or accommodation: the Royan Atlantique Tourist Office will be happy to guide you.
