This is a shorter stage in harmony with nature in the Médoc Regional Natural Park. You can fully enjoy the pure air of the Côte d'Argent. We owe the cultivation of the pines that surround you to Napoleon III to fix the dunes and the name Côte d'Argent to the journalist Maurice Martin in 1905. Like him, take a break to admire the beautiful silver reflections on the ocean!
In focus, the resort of Vendays-Montalivet, or more precisely Montalivet-les-Bains because the whole is divided between the seaside resort and the village of Vendays located inland.
We advise you to look up from the handlebars so as not to miss the works of art on the Terra Medoca route: there are some everywhere on the beaches and in the forest.

Your itinerary
1
The dry pine beach
You will have to leave the route and turn left to reach, in just over 5 minutes, this well-known surfers' corner in Naujac-sur-Mer. In season, a few snacks along the path to access the page. This is one of the wildest beaches in the area. You are in complete privacy: only the remains of the blockhouses from the Second World War punctuate the landscape.

2
Montalivet les Bains
You will definitely make the connection with California when you discover the blue lifeguard huts on the beach. As for the atmosphere, it's a bit the same: coolness is an art of living. For example, you can enjoy one of the largest markets in Gironde. Out of season, local traders will welcome you every morning at the covered market (except Mondays). In summer, it's every day, but with a much larger scale outside. The good plan is to eat directly on site at one of the many stands. There is no shortage of activities on site. We recommend the Chez Grapouille mini-golf course: it explores the world of the vineyard through 18 holes, each more surprising than the last. For other ideas, head to the Tourist Office!
