Discover Noaillan with the Municipal Youth Council!
At the initiative of the Municipal Youth Council, the heritage trail was inaugurated on November 17, 2018.
You leave from the Antonio site on the edge of Ciron, you go up the course of the Ciron to discover the castle of Noaillan, the church, the children's forest, the Dubernet estate, the wash house.
This 2-hour trip along the water makes you discover the heritage of Noaillan.
On the course, you will discover QR-Codes that you can scan with your smartphone to access additional information. This course is accessible to everyone, even children.

The start

Armed with the description of the hike that you will find in the tourist offices of Sauternes, Langon, Saint-Macaire and Hostens, you can start the hike serenely!

General Leclerc Square

Park in front of the town hall of Noaillan, place du Général Leclerc, to start your walk. The town hall has your back to you, join the D8 by the rue du petit cercle to take it for 300m before taking the D221 on the left for 400m.

D221

Take the path in front of you and follow the markings which will take you back to the D221 with the first path on your left. Back on the road, walk to a place called Peyrebernède.

Place called Peyrebernède

Take the road in front of you, slightly to your left to go around the block. Once done, go right, leave Peyrebernède to walk to Le Ciron. Do not cross the bridge, take the path on your left!

Along the Ciron

Take advantage, walk along this wild watercourse whose morning mists encourage the appearance of the Botrytis Cinerea fungus, essential for the production of Sauternes wines. Walk until you reach Antonio's road.

Along the Ciron

Cross the road to walk the path. On your left is a fitness trail and always on your right the Ciron! Pass the small bridge, you have cornfields on your left. Automatic watering cans may surprise you.

Back to Noaillan

Follow the path that runs along the stream, until you reach a crossroads after 5km125 of walking from the village of Noaillan. Turn left, you walk on a path, in the middle of cornfields.

Romanesque church and arrival

Before the D8, take the path that borders houses on your left. The latter will take you to the Calvary lane, turn left to reach the XNUMXth century Romanesque church, then retrace your steps. Follow the small road that will take you back to Place Général Leclerc!
