New: a horse-riding trail of 20 km of practicable and marked trails has just opened.
Discover the diversity of the national forest of Lacanau, a dune forest typical of the Côte d'Argent. A space that guarantees tranquility and serenity thanks to the landscaped paths, tracks and forest paths.
This route is made up of a so-called Baganais loop (7 km) and links including one of 0.75 km which gives you access to a viewpoint over the ocean, as well as an 11,5 km link which allows you to reach the Green Lung of the Porge. This loop presents few difficulties but requires occasional efforts when passing through the sandy parts.
It is open all year round but one access is closed during the hunting season, and another during the summer season:
- Luchit car park: Access closed from September 10 to March 31,
- Lion car park: Access closed from
